Race Course Road was home to the exclusive Singapore Sporting Club that hosted horse racing games. Founded in 1842 by a few amateur racing enthusiasts, the land was granted to the club, which they used it to host horse racing games. It attracted many wealthy Europeans, Chinese, Malays. Taking inspiration from Singapore Sporting Club and the history of Little India, we’ve designed an embroidery patch with motifs of scenes that familiar in Little India.
